I read with great interest “Independent school’s key to success is sacrifice” (Page 1, April 29) about San Miguel School on the South Side of Chicago. It is stories such as these that reinforce the incredible value of a caring and careful education.
The work that is being done at San Miguel is incredible! Each family really becomes a part of the San Miguel family when its children are enrolled at the school.
The staff and kids at the school deserve to have this attention, and the people of Chicago deserve to know of such a significant effort.
