A developer this week withdrew plans to build a combined Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins store after it looked doubtful that Lisle trustees would approve a drive-through.

Trustees were skeptical that the proposed site at 819 Ogden Ave. could handle traffic during rush hours. Village staff recommended denying the drive-through because of concerns traffic could back up onto Ogden.

The project is part of a 5,138-square-foot retail center with space for two other tenants. The developer could come back before the Village Board in two weeks with revised plans.
