Music, dance and traditional crafts from around the world are planned for A Festival of Cultures: One World, One Community, One Library, a free multicultural celebration scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Addison Public Library, 2 Friendship Plaza.
Entertainment will include the folk group Jutta and the Hi-Dukes at 9 a.m., Italian puppeteer Lionel Bottari at 10 a.m. and storyteller and balladeer Dan Keding at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Dede Sampaio Trio, a Brazilian percussion group, will perform at noon, and Indian dancer Sruthi Srinivasan is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Arts and crafts presentations, including demonstrations of origami, mehendi and Chinese calligraphy, will take place throughout the day. A pinata-making workshop is scheduled from 1 until 3 p.m.
Entertainment will take place under a tent on the library lawn; in case of rain, the festival will be moved indoors. People are invited to bring a picnic or purchase food from nearby restaurants.

In conjunction with the festival, a sculpture dedication ceremony will begin at 2:45 p.m. The sculpture was donated by family and friends of Jennifer Belford, a library staff member who died in 2000.
