Bruce D. Walterman, age 76, of Fox Lake, formerly of Park Ridge, father of Bruce “Chip” (Lisa) Walterman Jr., Ray (Mary) Larson and Wendy Sykes and the late Lois Stein; grandfather of six; great-grandfather of four; dear son of the late Harry and Huldah Walterman; brother of Devore (Joyce) Walterman, Phil (Dorothy) Walterman and the late Harry Walterman. Mr. Walterman served in the U.S. Air Corps during WW II. He was the founder of Interiors By Bruce which originated in Park Ridge and continued in Park Ridge for 40 years. Upon his retirement, Bruce Jr. “Chip” took over the business and moved it to Barrington. Chip has now been running the business on Northwest Highway in Barrington for 15 years. Mr. Walterman was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club and the American Legion, all in Park Ridge. Visitation at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N.
