Battle, suddenly, Navy Veteran, beloved husband of 47 years to Catherine “Kay”, nee McGowan; loving father of Nancy (Tony) Scavuzzo, Marty, Teri (Bart) Hisai, Tim (Tina), Brian (Dana), Jim (Susan), Eileen and the late Robert; devoted grandfather of Tony, Tom, Joe and Mike Scavuzzo, Matthew, Brendan and Amanda Battle, Andrew and Elise Battle, and Mario and Clara Battle; brother of Katherine Maloney and the late James (Helen) and Patrick (Ruth); son of the late Edward and Amy Battle; son-in-law of the late Sonny and Cecelia McGowan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
