Harry W. Krause, 83, passed away May 12, 2002. A retired Army Captain, he served in the Philippines during WWII. Harry was an avid bicycle rider throughout his life. He also loved woodworking, gardening, landscaping and participating in organized sports with his son and daughter. As a believer in Jesus Christ, he was one of the founding and active members of the North Suburban Evangelical Free Church. He also was a 20 year resident of Covenant Village of Northbrook. Survivors include Pearl, his devoted wife of 58 years; his children, Scot and Sheryl; and five grandchildren. The Memorial Service is 11 a.m. Monday at the North Suburban Evangelical Free Church, 200 Lake Cook Rd., Deerfield. Interment private. The family requests that gift memorials be given to Timber-lee Christian Center, East Troy, WI and sent to the North Suburban Evangelical Free Church.
