How refreshing it was to read the insightful article by Georgie Anne Geyer. It is about time that major American columnists speak out on behalf of American interests in the Middle East, rather than confusing those interests with the agenda of right-wing Israelis who want to usurp Palestinian land.
Unless more Americans are able to make this distinction, our country, with its financial, military and political power, will continue to support aggressive Israeli policies that foster only more injustice, hatred and violence throughout the world.
