Manown “Bill” Kisor. A longtime resident of Evanston, Bill was born in 1912 in Monessen, PA and died May 9, 2002 in Wilmette, IL. A Naval Academy graduate, Bill served during WWII as a Lt. Commander on the aircraft carrier Randolph. He was a man who loved children and will be remembered for his wonderful storytelling. He is survived by his wife, Judith DuBois Kisor; his children, Manown Jr., Henry and Debbie; a sister, Rebecca; and nine grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 9 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, 2120 Lincoln St., Evanston.
