I was deeply offended by the cartoon your newspaper had in the May 18 Gallery. The cartoon depicted a mother warning her son not to speak to Catholic priests.
Amid the turmoil in the Catholic Church, I think it was in poor taste to run such a cartoon. I am a devoted Catholic and know many priests who are not child molesters.
Your lack of tact hurts those priests who devote their lives to God and who help the poor and members of the community. I think the Tribune should apologize for the cartoon.
