I am a diehard Cubs fan and it is getting to me. For 57 years I have been faithful to my team, even when it meant taking a lot of ribbing from others. All those years I kept my faith that next year was just around the corner. If they had a good year (rare), they always found a way to let go of the players who had chemistry in and out of the clubhouse, so they did not have back-to-back good years.
That’s what they did this year, and now they look dead and out of sync. But I will stay loyal.
