William Rasbid, 83, of Seatonville, formerly of Chicago, passed away May 26, 2002, at his home, devoted husband of Clarice; loving father of Patricia (Rich) Morro of Superior, WI, Norma (Art) Koff of Chicago, Barbara Rasbid of Chicago, Lawrence Rasbid of Chicago and Michael (Mary) Rasbid of Chicago; loving grandfather of Christopher (Kim) Burke, Patrick (Teri) Burke, John Rasbid and Brenda (Gene) Mason; loving great-grandfather of Bradley, Ty, Diana and Bridget Burke and Matthew Matson; brother of Mary Ashby. Visitation on Wednesday, May 29, at the Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, IL from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude Church in Seatonville, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 30. He was retired from Oscar Meyer Foods in Chicago, where he worked as a meat smoker for 40 years.
