Rev. Emil Womack, C.P., a member of the Passionist Congregation for 64 years, and a priest for 58 years, passed away May 24, 2002 in Sacramento, CA. Father had most recently served at Christ the King Retreat Center in Citrus Heights, CA. Father Womack is survived by seven brothers, Father Warren of Chicago, Bernard of Waukegan, Paul of Riverside, CA, William of Kansas City, MO, Dr. Charles of Joplin, MO, James of Yukon, OK and Joseph Womack of Chicago and five sisters, Josephine Ketzner of Derby, KS, Joan Cook of Ottawa, KS, Phyllis of Oklahoma City, OK, Yvonne Ohmes of Kansas City, MO and Bernadette Cimino of Junction City, KS. Visitation Thursday in Daneo Hall of the Passionist Monastery, 5700 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago from 3 until 9 p.m. Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Harlem and Talcott Avenues. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
