Overwatering is one of the most common mistakes plant owners make–and one of the most dangerous to the plant’s health.
The Flow `n Grow Easy-Flow Container Drain is designed to improve drainage and protect plants from overwatering.
The pillowlike product is placed in the bottom of the pot over the drainage hole, keeping soil and roots inside but letting excess water flow through at a rate of more than 100 gallons a minute.
The container drain is made of polypropylene beads sandwiched between two layers of porous, rot-resistant polyethylene fabric.
It won’t clog the way pebbles, bark chips or clay pot shards can, the manufacturer says.
The product comes in two shapes to fit round containers and rectangular planters, and each shape is available in three sizes.
