Evelyn Boesche, 83, of Waterman, IL, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2002 at her home. She was born on Feb. 10, 1919 in Morton Grove, IL, the daughter of Carl and Minnie, nee Sietmann, Elsner. She married Wallace C. Boesche on Oct. 4, 1941 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Niles, IL. She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Pat) Boesche and Duane (Kimberly) Boesche, both of Waterman; five grandchildren, Dana (Roger) Johnson of Denison, IA, Deann (Mark) Rueff of Waterman, Donna (Dan) Marx of Bolingbrook, IL, Michael Boesche of Waterman and Ryan Boesche of Roselle, IL; four greatgrandchildren, Emily, Zachary, Valerie and David; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; her parents; two brothers, Fred and Edwin Elsner; and a sister, Lydia Wilke. Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Hinckley, on Thursday, June 13, 2002 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Donald Balgeman officiating. Burial will follow services at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
