Thomas H. Day, 74, of Clearwater, FL and formerly of Chicago, died June 13, 2002 at home under the care of the Hospice of the Suncoast. He came here in 1998 from his native Chicago, IL. He was the Owner of Alpine Jewelers in downtown Chicago. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is a member of the American Legion, Turner Barndon Post 7, Clearwater. He is survived by his son Durwin Day, Geneva, IL; four brothers, Frank Wing, Phoenix, AZ, Edward Wing, Downers Grove, IL, Robert Howard, Lake Zurich, IL and Rick Adonis, Chicago, IL; three grandchildren; and his companion Myrtle Sachs, Clearwater.
