Estelle Altschul, age 79, of Margate, FL, beloved husband for 60 years of Norman Altschul; died in peace at Vitas Hospice in Ft. Lauderdale on June 16th. Born Estelle Wolf to the late Daniel and Celia Wolf on June 24, 1922 in Chicago; Estelle married Norman on Janurary 4, 1942. She was also the devoted mother of Maureen (Robert) Wallace and Terrie (Robert) Eastmade; dear grandmother of Stuart (Karen) Soifer, Jill (David) Scholz, Alissa (Brian) Crespo and Diana Wallace; and loving greatgrandmother of Derrick, Corbin and Quincey Scholz. Graveside service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, Carnation section, 7801 W. Montrose, Chicago. Shiva will be observed at the Eastmade home, 400 Jefferson Ct., Wheeling, from Thursday to sunset Friday and sunset Saturday to sunset Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vitas Hospice, 5240 NW 33rd Ave., Suite 100, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309.
