Please add my name to the list of thousands who mourn the passing of Eppie Lederer. It was a nasty shock to open the Sunday paper and see that I’ve lost a friend, an auntie, a role model, someone I grew up with and respected tremendously, someone from whom I learned a lot and whom I quoted frequently.
The world is less cheerful without her common sense (not so common, as we all know) and practicality.
