Here in Virginia, where Philip Morris runs our state government and the cigarette tax is an absurd 2 1/2 cents a pack, even we are disgusted by Illinois canceling its teen-driven anti-smoking program. What corruption must there be in Springfield (yours, not ours) for a program that demonstrably smashes teen smoking to be defunded. If there isn’t an influence investigation out there promptly, your citizens, at least from ages 12 to 18, should scream bloody murder.
