One song, “If I Want To,” is about taking a woman from her man. Is that based on personal experience?
Yes, ma’am, it is. . . . That was a story that came from just dealing with relationships, because you know, women play games; guys play games too.
Is there a lot of pressure in being successful at such a young age?
Yeah. You don’t know how hard you need to work, [so you] work hard at it.
What’s the worst thing about being famous?
You never get a chance to go home.
Who taught you how to dance?
Life taught me how to dance. Being from the South, dancing was something that was just all around.
