Jack Brazier, 76, died July 16 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness, beloved husband of almost 51 years to Eleanor, nee Elias; cherished father of Mark (Susan) of Tucson, AZ, Bruce (Michelle) of Waukesha, WI, and David (Joyce Armes) of New Lenox, IL; proud grandpa of Brian, Steven, Chrissi, Shaina and Rebecca; survived by sister Helen (John) Dime of Elmhurst; and many other relatives and friends. Jack made it to the Illinois High School Basketball Hall of Fame in the early 1940’s after the Marshall H.S. team scored 99 straight wins. He played guard under coach Marv Weintraub. He later enjoyed a 25-year career as a Phys. Ed. Teacher for public schools in Park Ridge and River Forest. Jack will be remembered as a very generous and good husband and father who always put others first. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and never shied away from friendly conversations with strangers. Life tribute Friday, July 19, 7 p.m. in the Community Room at 2626 N. Lakeview, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, 355 N.
