Leslie Goldman’s “The patch is all the rage in medical fashion” (Health & Family, Aug. 4) contained that culturally insensitive term “flesh-colored.” This term should be stricken from our collective vocabulary simply because it is meaningless. The only thing that is flesh-colored is the flesh we are in.
