Gloria Kaplan Sulkin’s letter (“Annoying `artists,’ ” Commentary, Aug. 1.) not only decried rap artists, but another modern abhorrence: “poetry that doesn’t rhyme.”

I assume Sulkin is including the works of William Shakespeare in her disapproval; that guy just was not at all good at rhyming. I am surprised however that Sulkin does not like rap artists. Those guys are excellent at rhymes. Indeed, Eminem recently rhymed “selfishly” with “Elvis Presley.” I would have thought Sulkin would have loved that.
