Kudos to Rick Morrissey for telling it like it is on Sammy Sosa. I’m a lifelong Cubs fan and I totally agree–Sammy’s arm and his glove are lacking and seem to get worse every year. The home runs are great, and I get goose bumps with every one. But the Cubs need more than homers.
It’s high time someone tells it the way it is. If Sammy stays, he needs to improve in many areas, especially if the Cubs are going to be a contender in the near future.
