Mark Gembinski of Michigan has bought the last new Camaro to be sold by Chevrolet, a red, T-top Z-28. He paid $71,500 at the annual Kruse International auto auction in Auburn, Ind. Gembinski’s car was the second-to-last one produced last week at General Motors’ assembly plant in St. Therese, Quebec. The last Camaro is headed for a museum. Proceeds from the sale will go to the National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere.
