One of the points of frustration Illinois voters may face this year is the selection of our next governor.

Frankly, I’m comfortable with either candidate, especially when contrasted with the choice we faced in the 1998 governor’s race.

While there are significant differences on some issues between this year’s Jim Ryan and Rod Blagojevich, either candidate seems to have the abilities Illinois needs.
