Robert Salomon, 67, a New York native who made Chicago his home for the past 22 years, Commercial Photographer, died Monday, Oct. 28. Beloved husband to Martha Claffey; loving father to three wonderful children: Marc Salomon, Missy Monroe, and Amy Douglass; devoted son to mother, Elsie Salomon; grandfather to Jeremy, Benjamin, and Spencer Monroe; nephew to Rose and Sol Ranch and Rosiland Ranch; cousin to Peggy, David, Samuel, Helen, Niki, Nancy, and “Happy”; dear, dear friend to many. “Bob” had a spirit and a heart that were larger than life. He will be missed by all those who had the great good fortune to know him. Memorial service to be held Thursday, Nov. 7, 4 p.m. at Piser Chapel, 5206 N. Broadway, Chicago. For info: 773-561-4740.
