Barbara E. O’Brien, nee Sicinski, age 63, of New Lenox, IL, passed away Friday, November 1, 2002. Born September 11, 1939, to the late Raymond and Loretta, nee Zawistowski, Sicinski, in Chicago; wife of Robert F. O’Brien; and mother of William (Merrilee) Croix, Donna (Scott) Kolb, Cheryl (Scott) Swallow and Brian (Stefanie) Croix, all of New Lenox; sister of Nancy (Robert) Glinski and David (Grace) Sicinski, both of Munster, IN, and Daniel (MaryRose) Sicinski of Crown Point, IN; sister-in-law of Lawrence Szumski; grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of one; also aunt and cousin to many; preceded by her parents and sister Patricia Szumski. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Cedar at Francis Road in New Lenox on Monday, 4 to 9 p.m. Services 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2002, in the funeral home chapel to St. Jude’s Church in New Lenox for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
