Kathryn E. Catenacci, 59, a data input specialist for United Airlines, died Saturday, Nov. 2, of a heart attack in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Mrs. Catenacci, a resident of Arlington Heights since 1976, “would bend over backwards for just about anybody,” said her son Anthony. She was born in Berwyn and attended high school in Clinton, Iowa. Afterward, she returned to the Chicago area, where she met Les, her husband of 34 years, on a blind date and began working at United Airlines’ Wood Dale office. Mrs. Catenacci worked there for more than 25 years. She and her husband enjoyed the travel benefits of the job. Besides her son and husband survivors include another son, Michael; two brothers, Paul and Michael Novack; and two grandchildren. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
