Ronald L. Weech, 65, of Hilton Head Island, SC, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002. Born in Tracy, MN, the son of the late Harry Loren and Ruth Murphy Weech, he moved to Hilton Head Island in July, 2000 from River Forest, IL. Member of the Teamster’s Union and a truck driver for 30 years. Member of the American Legion. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958. Survived by three sons, Mark L. Weech of Bluffton, SC, Eric J. Weech of Itasca, IL and Scot R. Weech of Lombard, IL; four grandchildren; three stepchildren, Donna Kordas of Chicago, Neil Lazarski of Naperville, IL and Carl Lazarski of Lombard, IL; and eight stepgrandchildren. Visitation Wednesday 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Island Funeral Home and Crematory, Hilton Head Island, SC, where a Scripture Service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial with full military honors will follow in Beaufort National Cemetery.
