RedEye’s Winona Watch continues with the much-anticipated verdict: Guilty, on two out of three counts. A jury on Wednesday found Ryder guilty of felony grand theft and vandalism of more than $400 for stealing more than $5,500 worth of merchandise from a Beverly Hills Saks Fifth Avenue in December. She was found not guilty on one count of second-degree commercial burglary, meaning she did not enter Saks with the intent to commit the crime.
The 31-year-old actress probably will avoid jail time; the prosecutor said he would seek probation, community service and restitution at her sentencing Dec. 6.
