Robert E. Poetzinger, age 70, passed Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, late of New Lenox, loving husband of Loretta L., nee Feehery; dear father of Laura A. (John) Malatia, Linda L. (Chris) Smith and Daniel T.; proud grandfather of Andrew, Robert, Matthew and Michelle; fond brother of Patricia Fleuchaus and the late William Poetzinger; son of the late Andrew and Helen, nee Hultquist, Poetzinger; and was a good buddy to so many. Employed by the University of Illinois as an electrician for 30 years and a retired member of I.B.E.W. Local #134. He was born in Chicago and lived in New Lenox since 1976. Visitation Friday 3 to 8 p.m. at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox.
