Cheer up, Cubs fans.
Even though the Cubs had a rotten 2002 season, all is not lost. If two scrappy but not overly talented teams such as the Angels and Giants can reach the World Series, why can’t a scrappy but not overly talented Cubs team get to the World Series in 2003?
First the Cubs have to get scrappy and then climb to the not overly talented level.
