Why don’t the Bears get rid of John Shoop? After his play-calling in last year’s two losses to Green Bay, you would have thought he’d be the first to go. How many more times are we going to see the Bears lose by trying to run out the clock with six minutes left? With the corps of receivers they have, throw the ball! Emmitt Smith broke Walter Payton’s career rushing record this year. The Bears will never again have a great offensive player like Payton until they get rid of Shoop and get someone who can run the offense and give the talent a chance to show what it can do down the field.
