Henry E. “Bud” Koch, 81, of Elgin passed away Friday. He was born August 8, 1921 in Chicago, IL and was the son of the late William and Loretta, nee Silk, Koch. Loving husband to Frances Koch; beloved father to William (Carolyn) Koch, Michael (Cheryl) Koch and the late Eileen Shea; fond grandfather to Timothy (Hannah) Robbins, Samantha, Stephen and Timothy Koch; great-grandfather to Henry, Heidi and Chloe; fond brother of Edward (Pearl) Koch and Margaret (Edward) Richard. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., (Rt. 31), Elgin, IL 60123, 847-741-8800, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Roger Pollock officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
