Lorretta O. Barnes, 75, of Wheaton, formerly longtime of Glen Ellyn, beloved wife of 54 years of the late Ralph; dear mother of Barbara (Jim) Pohlman; proud grandmother of Kimberly Ann Pohlman, whom she cherished; twin sister of the late Lorraine; aunt and godmother to many. Born July 2, 1926 in Waukegan, Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Eastern Star in Wheaton and past President of the American Legion Auxiliary in Waukegan. She has been a huge Notre Dame fan her whole life, and her proudest moment was seeing her granddaughter graduate from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN. She was a devoted mother and “Grams” who never missed any part of their lives. Visitation Tuesday, Nov. 12, 5 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N.
