I do not recall hearing either Rod Blagojevich or Lisa Madigan thank Gov. George Ryan during their victory speeches.
I do not wish to denigrate the work performed by the Democrats during the campaign, but Ryan’s behavior in office is, after all, the reason Blagojevich and Madigan now hold political power in Illinois.
