Matchbox margarita – $5.50
You don’t have to elbow through the crowds at The Matchbox anymore for its famous margaritas. The owners have opened The Silver Palm next door–a classic bar attached to a rehabbed 1947 railroad dining car–and brought their crowd-pleasing drink menu with them. The margarita is a mix of fresh lime and lemon juices, tequila, Cointreau and–for texture and body–egg whites. It’s garnished with lemon zest and a powdered sugar rim. 768 N.
