John Leo Merichko, Nov. 9, 2002, age 28, late of Palos Park, formerly of Frankfort, beloved husband of Valentina Marie Merichko, nee Lazur; dear father of Angelica Kristeen Merichko; cherished son of John and Kristeen Merichko of Frankfort; loving brother of Michael of Frankfort and Joseph (Rebecca) Merichko of Tinley Park; fond nephew of Kathleen Scarry of Benton Harbor, MI; kind son-in-law of Joseph Lazur of Whiting, IN and Marilyn Lazur of Riverside. Lead Guitar Player with the Chicago Rock Band “Synge”, employee of All Tech Decorating Co. of Lemont, apprentice with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Painters District Council #14 Chicago. Lying in state at the All Nations Community Church, 18620 S. Kedzie Ave., Homewood, IL 60430, Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of services at 10 a.m. Interment Palos Oak Hill Cemetery, Palos Park.
