Globalization will cause the largest gap in social classes our history will ever experience. Corporate imperialism is out of control as is. The free trade policies these conferences try to set up will only cause increased problems.
Ten percent of the population controls 90 percent of the money in this so-called democracy. With globalization that gap will only increase. The idiotic middle class will continue to think they have a say in government and economic policy, but they will continue to be left completely in the dark. They will continue to buy, consume and spend because that was how they were socialized in this country.
The government will continue with its current policy of rape and abuse of the working classes throughout the world. Wars will be fought like the oil war of 1991, most commonly called the Persian Gulf war, without regard for human lives and the environment.
Obscene amounts of money will be spent on the military to ensure our irresponsible business practice will not be harmed. Corporations control the government instead of people. Until we have a total reform of all election practices we will continue to follow our so-called democratic government to its grave.
