Mary M. Quidd, died on Friday, Nov. 8, 2002 at 5:29 a.m. at her residence in Metairie, LA, beloved wife of the late John Quidd; mother of David Quidd, Stephen Quidd and the late Suzanne Quidd; daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Hopkins, she was later adopted at the age of 9 by the late Giles and Nora Wingate; sister of the late James Dale Hopkins and Harriet Harris. A native of East Peoria, IL and a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 32 years. Age 80 years, Mrs. Quidd worked at the Jefferson Parish Library from 1978 to 1995. She was a parishioner of St. Louis King of France. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002 at 1 p.m. Andrew J. McGann & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
