Bo Jackson turns 40 this month, but the former human Swiss Army knife doesn’t follow the sports world. “I don’t watch no football, no baseball, no basketball.” No kidding.

3. College hoops

Conference USA coaches picked Cincinnati to win it’s eighth straight conference title. Bearcats coach Bob Huggins also won best hair in a close vote over Rick Pitino. The guy from DePaul came in last.

4. Hockey dad update

Remember the dad who’s suing because his son didn’t win the league’s MVP? Well, the son’s now suspended. “He is suing because his rights have been infringed by this association and because of that, they kick (him) out? That’s not right,” said the father’s attorney. Maybe. But you started it. So there.

5. If we kill all the gophers, they’ll lock us up

Minnesota is planning a telethon called “Save Gopher Sports” to spare golf and men’s gymnastics from budget cuts. Why not combine them (vault to the green where you gotta stick the landing) and call it an X-Game?
