Following this past election, I again wonder why we cannot vote for the candidates over the Internet. We do, after all, bank, pay bills and make purchases online, so when do we progress to the point where we can vote online?
I’m sure all of us have found ourselves in the election booth confronted with minor candidates whom we have never heard of. Or the list of judges up for retention. Wouldn’t it be nice, when faced with this situation, to have the ability to immediately check on who these candidates are and what their track records divulge?
It is time to bring our election process into the digital information age.
