Wayne Gilbert, 78 of McComb, died November 11, 2002 at his residence. He was born October 12, 1924 in Milan, TN. He was the son of Wilson Gilbert and Cora Nubal Gilbert. He was a retired welder with 30 years service with General Motors and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one son, John Gilbert of Cicero, IL, two daughters Shirley (Dan) Davis of Schaumburg, IL and Becky (Les) Stolarczyk of Elk Grove, IL; two sisters including his twin sister, Wanda Duck and Nell Graumn, both of Humble, TN, one brother, Nubal Gibert of CA; and four grandchildren, Michael Kusek and Sara Kusek, both of Schaumburg, IL, Vincent Stolarczyk, both of Elk Grove, IL. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Pike Memorial Gardens. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb in charge of arrangements.
