George DeVries, 51, passed away at his home in Brighton, MI on Sunday, Nov. 10, beloved husband of Yvonne, nee Ceron; loving father of Max, Dominique, Thomas and Nicole; dear brother of the late Gene (Pat) Demsko, Esther Kistler and Christine DeVries. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Burial was in Brighton, MI on Wednesday, Nov. 13. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Darien, IL at 1 p.m. There will be visitation with family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to children’s education fund.
