Barbara Miarka, dear sister of Ann (Norman) Rothenberg and the late Stanley V. Miarka; fond aunt of David (Amanda) and Marc (Stephanie) Rothenberg; Barb was one of the founding members of St. Fabian Parish and was instrumental in the development of many parish organizations and ministries. She was a leader, always willing to help, from the Women’s Club to many fund-raising activities like the Carnival. She will be deeply missed. Family and friends will gather at St. Fabian Church, 8300 S. Oketo, Bridgeview, Saturday, 10:15 a.m. mass. Interment private. Visitation at Hann Funeral Home, 8230 S.
