As an election judge who started at 5:30 a.m. and finished at 10 p.m. Nov. 5, I would take issue with letter writer Neal Vaughan’s assertion that we did not check IDs (“Voter IDs,” Voice of the people, Nov. 10). At least in DuPage County, every voter signs his name and usually there is copy of such right beneath that name. Two judges of different parties check that name before a ballot is issued. The signature is the ID.
