Even if you live in a studio, you have bare walls to fill–four, or more, if you’re lucky. You still have that stack of posters–beers of the world, your favorite movie, a Monet print. But face it, you’re post-poster, or you should be. They served their purpose–just as Jaffa blocks did–but now you need more style. – Pressed flowers and leaves.
– Faux modern art: Buy a large piece of canvas at an art store and paint it in a single solid color.

– Empty frame assemblages (Treat frames themselves as works of art. Paint thrift-shop finds the color of your choosing.).
– Tactile art: framed textures (bubble wrap, steel wool, AstroTurf in a frame–without the glass–so it’s touchable).
– Paint your walls a vibrant color.
Install a floating shelf to display collectibles (No ugly brackets showing. Buy them cheap at IKEA).
