June H. Rouse, age 72, left this life peacefully on November 11. Beloved wife of Stan Schultz; loving mother of Karl and Claudia; grandmother of Michael, Garret and Kara; sister of Joy and Kay; aunt of Terry, Tara and Bob; she left many loving friends and admirers; many who thought of her as a model for how to be a human being. June was a master editor, recently at The Monthly Aspectarian. As a freelance editor, she helped bring 20+ books to publication, most focused on personal growth. She was a minister in Eckankar, The Religion of the Light and Sound of God. A gifted poet and teacher who inspired many people and touched many lives with her warmth, love, generosity, humor, kindness and wisdom, she will be missed. She understood that Soul is eternal. When faced with the prospect of her life ending from breast cancer she said, “Its a win-win situation, either I live or I die.” A memorial service will be held at Unity in Chicago, 1925 W.
