Evelyn Kesselring, age 71, of Mio, MI, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2002 at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch, MI. Funeral services were held at the Orr Funeral Home, Mio, MI at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, with Pastor John Britt of the Mio United Methodist Church officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery. Evelyn was born April 2, 1931 to Alfred and Leona, nee Farwell, Krager in Elmhurst, IL. She was a retired accountant for Trans America Insurance Group. She moved to the Mio area from Bartlett, IL in June 2002 to live with her daughter Lynn. Evelyn was a member of the Mio United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children Juanita Thompson of Indian Wells, CA, Vinceanna Lynn (Robert) Berney II of Mio, MI, Melody (Jerry) Domarus of Albin, TX and Michael Paul (Gayla) Kesselring of Hattiesburg, MS; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn’s husband, Richard Lee Kesselring, preceded her in death in October 1984; and her parents also preceded her. Orr Funeral Home, Mio, MI, handled arrangements.
