Results of a customer service study were presented to the Naperville Park District board last week. The study is designed to improve the Park District’s internal and external communications.

The study, which began in March, reviewed the Park District’s mission, plus a variety of customer services including telephone and face-to-face standards, e-mail protocol and follow-up procedures.

“The benefit of this study is that it allows everyone that works here to get on board,” said Park Board President Steve Born. “We not only looked at our communication with the public, but also internally among departments. It’s sort of letting the right hand know what the left hand is doing.”
